Beginning in February, each member of the City of Henderson’s Board of Commissioners began keeping office hours once each week.
The office is located on the second floor of the Henderson Municipal Center, 222 First St., in the space previously occupied by the field office of former U.S. Rep. Ed Whitfield. Upon exiting the elevator on the second floor, turn left and proceed to the last office on the right.
Hours are as follows:
Mondays, 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. – Commissioner Robert Pruitt.
Tuesday, 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. – Commissioner Brad Staton.
Thursdays, noon to 1 p.m. – Commissioner Patti Bugg.
Fridays, 11 a.m. to noon – Commissioner Austin Vowels.
Mayor Steve Austin also has meeting times available in his office on the third floor of the Municipal Center. Citizens may call 270-831-1200 to make an appointment to talk with the Mayor.
The Board of Commissioners meets at 5:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month, and regularly scheduled work sessions on the third Tuesday of the month.
