A public meeting to discuss plans for the New US 60 Green River “Spottsville” Bridge in Henderson County is scheduled for Thursday, October 19, 2017.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet recently ran an ad in the Henderson Gleaner announcing an earlier date. However, due to scheduling issues, the public meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, October 19th from 5 p.m., CDT, to 7 p.m., at the Spottsville Elementary School, at 9190 US Hwy 60 East in Spottsville, KY.
The meeting will share displays and renderings to update the public on the design process and seek public input to help provide guidance for the project. There will be a brief presentation at 6 p.m. KYTC engineers are especially interested in talking to property owners along the bridge construction corridor which is just downstream from the existing bridge.
The Transportation Cabinet will provide a more detailed news release about a week before the October 19th meeting.
In accordance with the Americans With Disabilities Act, anyone who has a disability that requires accommodation to attend the meeting may contact the KYTC District 2 office at 270-824-7080 for assistance.
